Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council: Liberation from Houthi militias is imminent.

Yemen's Leadership Signals Hope for Liberation from Houthi Militias

Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith, the Vice President of the Shura Council, expressed strong optimism regarding the imminent liberation of the Yemeni people from the Iranian-backed Houthi militias. During a recent speech, he highlighted the criminal nature of these militias and their threat, which extends beyond Yemen, endangering the entire region and the world.

Celebrating Eid al-Fitr with a Call for Unity

Abu Al-Ghaith delivered his remarks at a festive gathering celebrating Eid al-Fitr, organized by the popular resistance in the Marib Governorate. The event, themed “Our Eid is the Liberation of Hodeidah to Restore the State and Protect the Republic,” aimed to rally support for the legitimate leadership represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the armed forces. He urged all factions to unite behind this leadership to restore state institutions and ensure security and stability.

Highlighting Houthi Crimes and Violations

In his address, Abu Al-Ghaith condemned the numerous crimes and violations committed by the Houthi militias. He pointed out acts of murder, displacement, property confiscation, and the erosion of national identity. He emphasized that these actions aim to isolate Yemen from its Arab surroundings and to further Iranian agendas.

Calls for National Cohesion

Haadi Haij, the head of the popular resistance in Hodeidah, along with Major General Omar Sajaf, echoed Abu Al-Ghaith’s sentiments. They stressed the importance of national unity among tribes, military forces, and political and civil entities. They praised the sacrifices made by the people of Hodeidah, particularly the residents of Al-Zaraniq, in their fight against the Houthi project, which has devastated infrastructure and resulted in the deaths of thousands of Yemenis.

Cultural Celebrations Amidst Struggles

The event featured various cultural performances, including poetry recitations and traditional folk dances from the Tihama region, which received enthusiastic applause from attendees. These artistic expressions served as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage of Yemen, even in the face of ongoing challenges.

As Yemen continues to navigate its complex political landscape, leaders like Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith remain hopeful for a future free from the grip of Houthi militias. The call for unity and resilience resonates strongly among the Yemeni people, as they strive to reclaim their national identity and restore peace in their homeland.
