Defense Ministry’s Director of Military Works visits Taiz front.

The Director of the Military Works Department at the Ministry of Defense, along with the Director of the Mine Action Coordination Office, Major General Fadl Gharama, visited the Taiz Axis Command today.

During the visit, the Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, Major General Abdul Aziz Al-Majidi, briefed on the combat situation and the deployment of combat units within the Axis area, highlighting the daily sacrifices made by members of the National Army in Taiz in defense of the country. He also expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Defense’s attention to the National Army in Taiz.

The Director of the Military Works Department reaffirmed the Ministry of Defense’s commitment to supporting the fighters in the Taiz Axis, appreciating their efforts and sacrifices.

Following the briefing, Major General Gharama visited the Operations and Maps Room at the Taiz Axis, where Colonel Abdul Karim Qasim, the senior instructor at the training center, provided an overview of the units’ deployment within the operational scope and the distribution of battalions across the brigades’ responsibility sectors.

Major General Gharama, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, brigade commanders, and department heads, inspected the eastern entrance of the city, the progress of work on the recently opened road, and some positions on the front lines in the eastern and northwestern fronts of the city.

The Director of the Military Works Department and the Taiz Axis Command also visited the martyrs’ cemetery, where they recited Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of freedom and dignity.

This visit underscores the Ministry of Defense’s ongoing support and recognition of the valiant efforts and sacrifices of the Taiz Axis forces in their steadfast defense of the nation.
