Military Delegation Visits Al-Razamat Front in Saada

On Monday, a military delegation from the Ministry of Defense, led by Brigadier General Khadr Saleh, the Director of Personnel and General Reserves, conducted a field visit to the Al-Razamat front in Saada Governorate. Accompanying him was Brigadier General Mohammed Abdullah Al-Kamim, an advisor to the Minister of Defense.

Meeting to Address Military Developments

During the visit, Brigadier General Khadr held a meeting with the leadership of the front to discuss recent military developments. This conversation took place against the backdrop of ongoing violations by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, which have persisted since the United Nations brokered a ceasefire in April 2022.

The Ministry of Defense delegation listened to a brief overview of the military units’ tasks and activities, gaining insight into their achievements in combating the Houthi militia over the past months.

Emphasis on Preparedness and Training

Brigadier General Khadr urged the front’s leadership to intensify their efforts in training and preparing military personnel. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high combat readiness for various military missions in the upcoming period. He reassured the front’s leadership of the Ministry of Defense’s commitment to supporting fighters on the frontlines and enhancing their combat capabilities to effectively deter the Houthi militia. He praised the significant role the front’s leadership plays in the battle to restore the state from Houthi control.

Acknowledgment of Leadership Efforts

In response, Major General Mohammed Saleh Al-Ghanimi, the commander of the Al-Razamat front and the 245th Infantry Brigade, welcomed the delegation. He expressed appreciation for the continuous support and oversight from the Minister of Defense and the Chief of General Staff regarding the tasks assigned to the front.

This visit underscores the ongoing commitment of Yemen’s military leadership to strengthen their forces and address the challenges posed by the Houthi militia, ensuring readiness for future operations.
