Today, Defense Minister Major General Taher Al-Aqeeli convened a crucial meeting with the Training and Rehabilitation Authority in the temporary capital of Aden. The primary focus of this discussion was the implementation of training plans and programs designed to enhance the efficiency and readiness of the armed forces. During the meeting, Minister Al-Aqeeli engaged with the leadership of the Training and Rehabilitation Authority, who provided a comprehensive overview of their ongoing efforts in training and rehabilitating military personnel. Major General Al-Aqeeli commended the leadership of the authority, including Major General Mohammed Al-Shaari, head of the Training and Rehabilitation Authority, Major General Hussein Atique, director of the Higher Military Academy, and Major General Abdul Karim Al-Zumahi, director of the War College. He emphasized the need to intensify efforts and mobilize resources in accordance with established standards and regulations.
The Defense Minister highlighted the critical role of advancing the training and rehabilitation system as a fundamental pillar for establishing a disciplined military institution. He reiterated the necessity of updating curricula and training programs to align with contemporary military developments.
