Today, Defense Minister Major General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Dhari met separately with British Military Attaché Colonel Jonathan Frame and French Military Attaché Major Junaid Jodha. The discussions focused on the latest military developments and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in military, security, and counter-terrorism efforts.

During the meetings, the officials reviewed the current battlefield conditions. They highlighted the ongoing assaults by Houthi militia on armed forces across multiple fronts. Furthermore, they addressed the Houthi’s continued terrorist attacks on commercial vessels and international shipping routes.
Iranian Support for Houthi Militias
Minister Al-Dhari reiterated concerns about the Iranian regime’s role in smuggling weapons and military experts to the Houthi militia through the port of Hodeidah. He pointed out the increasing collaboration between the Houthi militia and terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda and ISIS. This partnership poses a significant threat to armed forces and disrupts security in liberated areas.
Empowering Armed Forces
The Defense Minister emphasized the necessity of bolstering the capabilities of the armed forces. He stated that strengthening these capabilities is essential for the military to effectively fulfill its responsibilities as a key partner in ensuring maritime security and combating terrorism.
