Minister of Defense Evaluates Military Readiness in Eighth Military Zone
Today, in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher Al-Aqili held a comprehensive meeting with the leadership of the Eighth Military Zone. This meeting aimed to assess the current situation and combat readiness of the area, reinforcing military capabilities to address ongoing challenges.
Assessing Combat Readiness
During the meeting, attended by the Governor of Al-Dhale’e and Commander of the Al-Dhale’e Axis, Major General Ahmed Al-Qubaa, the Minister listened to a briefing from Major General Hadi Al-Awlaki, the commander of the Eighth Military Zone. The briefing covered operational readiness and the status of military units within the operational theater, as well as the progress of field missions. Participants also discussed the key needs and challenges facing the units in the region.
Supporting the Brave Defenders
Minister Al-Aqili praised the heroism and sacrifices made by the defenders of the Eighth Military Zone in their fight against Houthi militia. He emphasized the Ministry of Defense’s commitment to supporting these brave individuals on various fronts. The Minister highlighted the importance of utilizing available resources to meet their needs, reflecting a strong commitment to bolster morale and support the troops during these challenging times.
