Today, Tarik Saleh, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, conducted an inspection of key road projects in the Western Coast, supported by the United Arab Emirates. These projects aim to foster comprehensive development in the region, enhancing connectivity between provinces and facilitating the movement of citizens and goods.
During his visit, Saleh examined the Al-Mokha-Mawza’a-Al-Waziyah-Kadhah road project, which stretches 37 kilometers and features two lanes with a central island. This initiative represents the second phase of the Kadhah-Taiz road, significantly easing transportation between the Western Coast and the city of Taiz.
Saleh expressed his admiration for the notable progress of the project. He emphasized the importance of adhering to technical standards and specifications to ensure the road’s quality and longevity. His commitment to high-quality infrastructure reflects a broader goal of sustainable development in the region.
In addition to inspecting the road project, Saleh visited the communities in Mawza’a that border the road. He praised the residents for their cooperation in making this vital project a success, highlighting its role as a lifeline for them.
Furthermore, Saleh reviewed the expansion of the main street and the asphalt paving of Al-Arbaeen Street. This work aligns with the city’s infrastructure development plan under the Master Plan initiative, aimed at improving urban living conditions.
During his visit, Saleh was accompanied by Sultan Mahmoud, the Director-General of Al-Mokha District; Abdul Karim Haidar, the Director of Mawza’a District; and Brigadier General Mujahid Al-Hazora, the Commander of Western Coast Security Sector. Their presence underscores the collaborative effort in advancing these crucial infrastructure projects.
