Judicial Reform: A Priority for Trust and Justice

Tarik Saleh, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized the importance of addressing citizens’ issues swiftly and fairly through the judiciary. He stated that ensuring justice is a priority for building trust in the legal system across all sectors.

The Role of Judiciary in State Authority

During a meeting today with Judge Mohammed Kadeesh, a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, Saleh highlighted the judiciary’s crucial role in reinforcing state authority, combating corruption, and providing justice to those wronged. He pointed out that an effective judicial system is vital for maintaining order and fairness in society.

Challenges Facing the Judiciary in Liberated Areas

The discussion also covered the challenges that the judiciary faces in liberated regions. Saleh stressed the need to enhance judicial independence and fully activate its role to ensure the law is applied effectively and justice is achieved for all citizens.

Support for Judicial Development

Judge Kadeesh acknowledged Saleh’s efforts to support and develop the judiciary in the western coast region. He noted the importance of providing necessary resources to judges, which will contribute to stabilizing the judicial system in liberated areas.

The meeting also included the Deputy Commander of the Western Coast Security Sector, Brigadier General Ali Al-Qahif, who participated in the discussions on judicial reform and support.
