Council member Sultan Al-Arada: Building a strong national army is essential for state stability and restoring its institutions.

Mareb Graduation Ceremony Highlights Military Training Importance

During a recent graduation ceremony in Mareb, Sultan bin Ali Al-Arada, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized the critical role of establishing a robust national army in stabilizing Yemen and restoring its hijacked institutions. He delivered these remarks while addressing graduates from specialized military training programs, which included courses for armored battalion leaders, drone operations, military engineering, and cybersecurity.

Focus on Modern Training Techniques

Al-Arada stressed the necessity of prioritizing training and qualification for military and security personnel. He advocated for adopting modern and sound training principles to enhance their capabilities. This approach aims to improve their skills in utilizing advanced weaponry and technology, as well as to boost their planning and execution abilities in various combat environments.

He pointed out that training should not only focus on theoretical knowledge and practical application. Instead, it should also cultivate a fighter’s mindset, instill national values, and reinforce a sense of responsibility. According to Al-Arada, true strength stems from discipline, commitment, and loyalty to both God and the homeland, rather than mere weaponry and equipment.

Adapting to Modern Warfare Challenges

Al-Arada noted that contemporary warfare has evolved beyond relying solely on physical strength and military hardware. With rapid technological advancements, transitioning from traditional methods to modern strategies has become essential. He highlighted the importance of developing military systems and strategies that align with future warfare challenges. This includes integrating advanced electronic systems, drones, smart weapons, and cybersecurity measures to enhance military efficiency and capability.

A Call to Arms for National Defense

In his address, Al-Arada praised the armed forces and popular resistance fighters, stating, “You have proven to be the safeguard of Yemen, bravely defending the nation.” He acknowledged their sacrifices and commitment to keeping Yemen’s flag flying high in the pursuit of dignity, freedom, and security. He expressed confidence that their efforts would lead to the defeat of extremist projects and terrorist militias.

He urged the graduates to continue their mission with unwavering determination, reminding them that every effort to protect the homeland is a sacred duty. Al-Arada conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and other council members to the graduates, encouraging them in their national responsibilities.

Recognition of Excellence in Military Training

Al-Arada expressed his delight at the graduation of a distinguished group of national heroes who successfully completed their specialized military training. He hopes that the skills and knowledge they acquired will serve as a foundation for their future roles in the armed forces and security sectors, enabling them to perform their duties with high professionalism.

Commitment to Specialized Training

Major General Khaled Al-Ashwal, head of the Operations Authority, explained that these courses reflect the authority’s commitment to specialized training and qualification for military leaders, officers, and personnel. He emphasized the need to enhance their skills and professional competencies to prepare them for future missions, particularly in the context of the ongoing struggle to restore the republic and uphold the values of the Yemeni revolution.

The ceremony also included a speech from the graduates, highlighting the benefits gained from the training programs and expressing gratitude to the specialized military schools.

In conclusion, the event recognized the top graduates and outstanding performers from the courses. The ceremony saw the presence of key officials, including the Ministers of Information and Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, and Interior Minister Ibrahim Haidan.
