Leadership Meeting in Aden
On Thursday, Major General Mahmoud Al-Sabihi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized that the stability of Aden serves as the cornerstone for achieving victory in the ongoing struggle to restore the state and end the Iranian-backed Houthi insurgency. He made these remarks during a government meeting held at the Maashiq Presidential Palace in Aden, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Shaye’ Mohsen Al-Zandani.
Addressing Security and Service Challenges
The meeting focused on various developments concerning security and public services in Aden and other liberated provinces. Al-Sabihi stressed the importance of heightened vigilance during this critical phase. He urged officials to thwart any attempts that could disrupt public tranquility or undermine state institutions.
Government’s Responsibility to the People
Al-Sabihi highlighted the necessity for the government to be physically present alongside citizens. He pointed out that ministries and service agencies must engage with the community’s concerns and alleviate their hardships, moving beyond closed-door discussions.
Call for Local Authorities to Enhance Oversight
Additionally, he called on local authorities to intensify their efforts and fully assume their responsibilities in improving oversight and enhancing essential services.

In response, Prime Minister Al-Zandani expressed the government’s appreciation for Al-Sabihi’s role during this pivotal time. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to being present with the citizens and making every effort to ease their struggles.
