This meeting brought together tribal leaders, dignitaries, and social figures from Mareb and various Yemeni provinces to discuss the ongoing struggle against Houthi militias.

Defending the Revolution and Republic

During the meeting, attendees emphasized the vital role of Mareb’s tribes and the people of Yemen in defending the revolution and the republic. General Al-Arada stressed the pivotal role of Yemeni tribes in the national battle against the Houthi insurgency. He called on tribal leaders to continue supporting the armed forces by providing fighters, equipment, and resources to bolster their resilience on all fronts.

Acknowledging National Contributions

Both General Al-Arada and Dr. bin Mubarak praised the commendable positions taken by tribal members in Mareb. They recognized the tribes’ commitment to the state and their efforts to strengthen its institutions. The leaders expressed gratitude for the support given to security forces in combating Houthi terrorism and thwarting their sleeper cells and criminal plots.

They underscored the significance of these actions in resisting the Houthi coup and countering Iranian influence aimed at destabilizing Yemen and the broader region.

Commitment to Constitutional Legitimacy

In response, the tribal leaders and social figures present reaffirmed their steadfast support for constitutional legitimacy. They expressed unwavering loyalty to the internationally recognized leadership of Yemen, represented by the Presidential Leadership Council under President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi and Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak.

The attendees united in their resolve to stand against the Houthi militias, pledging to support the armed forces in their critical mission to end the Houthi rebellion, restore state institutions, and liberate all Yemeni provinces from Houthi control, which is backed by the Iranian regime.

This meeting in Mareb reflects a collective determination among Yemeni leaders and tribes to resist the ongoing threats posed by Houthi militias. The commitment to national unity and the defense of Yemen’s sovereignty remains strong as the country continues to navigate its complex challenges.
