First Charity Bazaar Launches in Marib to Support Orphaned Students

Today, the Marib Governorate kicked off the First Charity Bazaar aimed at supporting orphaned students. This initiative, organized by the Building for Sustainable Development Foundation in collaboration with the Farq Academy for Training and Consulting, will run for three days.

Diverse Offerings from Local Families

The bazaar features 28 productive families showcasing a variety of products, including:

  • Incense and perfumes
  • Women’s and children’s clothing
  • Antiques and gifts
  • Sweets and pastries
  • Children’s toys, along with a unit for psychological and family counseling.

Community Support and Solidarity

During the opening ceremony, Abdulmalik Abad, Director of Associations at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, praised this initiative. He emphasized its role in supporting orphaned students and promoting community solidarity, especially during these challenging living conditions.

Promoting Social Welfare and Cultural Activities

Aisha Al-Banna, head of the local branch of the Building for Sustainable Development Foundation, explained that the bazaar aims to enhance the culture of social solidarity. It also provides a platform for productive families to showcase their products. Additionally, the event includes cultural activities, competitions, psychological and family counseling, and inspiring success stories.

This charity bazaar not only supports education for vulnerable students but also fosters community engagement and empowerment.
