On Monday evening, Major General Aidrous Al-Zubaidi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, arrived in Switzerland to lead Yemen’s delegation at the 55th World Economic Forum held in Davos. Dr. Ali Mohammed Majour, Yemen’s Ambassador to Switzerland, along with several embassy officials, welcomed him upon his arrival.
The World Economic Forum commenced today, attracting over 2,800 participants, including 50 heads of state and government. The event also draws a significant number of politicians, business leaders, and economic influencers from around the globe. This year’s forum provides a platform for discussions on pressing global issues and opportunities for collaboration.
During the forum, Major General Al-Zubaidi plans to engage in a series of bilateral meetings with various heads of delegations and foreign ministers from both friendly and neighboring countries. These discussions aim to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore avenues for economic cooperation.
