Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Mahmoud Al-Sabhi, stated that the recent terrorist attack by Houthi militias on a group of new recruits at the Alam camp in Shabwa Governorate resulted in several martyrs and injuries. This incident once again underscores the serious threats posed by these militias to Yemen and its national institutions.

Importance of Military and Security Readiness

Major General Al-Sabhi emphasized the necessity of enhancing military and security readiness. He called for measures that ensure the protection of citizens and the preservation of stability in the governorates.

Commitment to Martyrs and Their Families

The council member noted that the blood of the martyrs remains a national trust. Their sacrifices will continue to motivate efforts aimed at safeguarding the homeland, restoring its institutions, and establishing security and stability. He stressed the importance of implementing the directives of His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, regarding the provision of necessary medical care for the injured and the attention to the families of the martyrs, ensuring their rights and entitlements in honor of their sacrifices.

Major General Al-Sabhi expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the martyrs and their loved ones, as well as to the local authority leadership and all residents of Shabwa Governorate. He prayed for God’s mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs, asking that they be granted a place in paradise, and wished for a swift recovery for the injured. He also prayed for the protection of Shabwa and its people, as well as Yemen, from all harm and misfortune.
