On Wednesday evening, President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, made a phone call to Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri, commander of the Second Giants Brigade. The call aimed to check on Shukri’s health following a terrorist attack that targeted his convoy, resulting in several casualties.

President Offers Condolences and Congratulations

During the conversation, President Alimi congratulated Brigadier General Shukri on his survival from the treacherous explosion. He expressed his condolences for the victims, praying for God’s mercy and forgiveness for the deceased and wishing a swift recovery for the injured.

Acknowledging Leadership in Security Efforts

President Alimi praised Brigadier General Shukri for his steadfast commitment to combating smuggling, terrorism, and organized crime. He reaffirmed the state’s strong support for the armed forces and security agencies, emphasizing their crucial role in maintaining public order and ensuring stability in the temporary capital of Aden and the liberated provinces.
