In a recent address, Sultan al-Aradah, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Maqreb, highlighted the importance of establishing a strong and professional national military. Al-Aradah delivered his remarks during a ceremony on Sunday, where he welcomed the 18th Leadership and Staff Course at the Higher Military Academy in Maqreb. The event saw the attendance of several key figures, including General Staff Chief and Joint Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, and various military and security leaders.

At the beginning of his speech, al-Aradah conveyed greetings from Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and expressed appreciation for the efforts of armed forces personnel across various fronts. The Deputy Head of the Higher Military Academy, Colonel Faisal Shizer, outlined the procedures for applicants, including file reviews, medical examinations, and final tests, emphasizing a commitment to quality. Colonel Sufyan Abdul Rahim, Director of the Leadership and Staff College, expressed confidence that the outcomes of this course would significantly enhance the military institution’s capabilities.
Honorary Degree Awarded
