Council member Al-Bahssani meets with the Second Military Region leadership and inspects the military hospital in Mukalla.

Leadership Meeting in Mukalla Highlights Military Readiness

Lieutenant General Faraj Al-Bahsani, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, led a significant meeting in Mukalla. Attendees included Major General Talib Barjash, the commander of the Second Military Region, along with various brigade leaders and heads of military units. During the meeting, Al-Bahsani extended his warm wishes to the officers and personnel for the holy month of Ramadan, expressing hopes for blessings and prosperity for Yemen and all Muslims. He also addressed the latest developments in the national landscape.

Emphasizing Combat Readiness and Discipline

Al-Bahsani stressed the critical need to enhance combat readiness, vigilance, and military discipline among leaders, officers, and personnel. He reaffirmed the Presidential Leadership Council’s commitment to supporting military and security agencies. Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of training and equipping these forces to ensure they remain prepared and maintain high morale.

Security Plans for Ramadan

In response, Major General Barjash expressed gratitude for Al-Bahsani’s attention to the Second Military Region’s leadership and his oversight of ongoing activities and plans. He presented the security strategy for Ramadan, detailing the readiness of brigades and military units to implement these plans effectively.

Visit to Military Hospital

Al-Bahsani also visited the military hospital to assess the quality of medical services provided. He praised the hospital’s efforts in delivering healthcare to military personnel and their families, commending the high competence of the medical staff.

Assessing Special Forces Readiness

Additionally, Al-Bahsani reviewed the readiness of the special forces battalion. He acknowledged the military discipline and efforts made to maintain security and stability along the Hadramaut coast since the liberation of Mukalla from Al-Qaeda elements in April 2016. He urged continued training and enhancement of efforts to preserve the security and stability of Hadramaut.

This meeting underscores the leadership’s commitment to maintaining military readiness and security in Yemen, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. The focus on training, discipline, and healthcare reflects a comprehensive approach to supporting the armed forces and ensuring their effectiveness in safeguarding the region.
