Citizens and Leaders of Sana’a Governorate Support Presidential Leadership Council and Central Bank Decisions

Citizens, dignitaries, and political forces of Sana’a governorate have affirmed their support and endorsement of the Presidential Leadership Council and the recent decisions made by the Central Bank aimed at unifying the currency and reforming and protecting the economic system from collapse.

This declaration was made during a mass public event organized by the Resistance Councils of Sana’a governorate in Marib, concluding their activities in support of the army and security forces.

Sheikh Mansour al-Hanq, a member of the House of Representatives and head of the Supreme Resistance Council of Sana’a, along with Zabn Allah al-Matari, the secretary of the organization in Sana’a governorate, representing political parties, stated that the Central Bank’s decisions are historic and meet the aspirations of the people. They highlighted these decisions as crucial steps towards enhancing economic stability and alleviating the suffering of citizens. They pointed out that these are sovereign national decisions related to the state’s core responsibilities in protecting its citizens, economy, and national currency.

The speakers called on citizens in areas under Houthi militia control to fulfill their duty in resisting injustice, tyranny, and foreign ideologies that aim to erase identity and belief. They emphasized the importance of protecting their children from joining Houthi summer camps and cultural courses, which indoctrinate them with hateful and violent beliefs, including the fallacy of divine selection of a particular lineage aligned with Iran’s clerical regime. This, they argued, is aimed at sacrificing the youth of tribes for the Iranian agenda and the Houthi clerical-terrorist project.

Al-Hanq and Al-Matari praised the struggle of the citizens of Sana’a governorate who have stood and continue to stand alongside the honorable people of the nation against the Houthi terrorist militia across various fronts. They expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the heroes of the army and security forces stationed at different battlefronts for their efforts in maintaining the security and stability of Yemen.
