An individual from the Second Military Region in Hadramaut has sustained injuries.

Incident at Hadramout Military Zone Leads to Injury

On Wednesday morning, the leadership of the Second Military Zone in Hadramout announced an injury involving one of its members. This incident occurred during a stampede at the main gate of the Al-Rabwa camp, which houses the Elite Hadrami Brigade in Mukalla. The chaos unfolded as numerous personnel, required to address their financial situations, gathered at the site.

Details of the Incident and Injury

The military leadership clarified that the stampede resulted from a large influx of personnel. They had initially planned to admit a specific number of individuals according to organizational arrangements. Consequently, the remaining personnel received instructions to return later in the evening for a more orderly process.

During the incident, one member sustained injuries from gunfire, specifically shrapnel to the head. Emergency services promptly transported him to a Mukalla hospital for necessary medical care. The leadership confirmed that the injured individual is currently in intensive care, with medical teams preparing for surgery once his condition stabilizes.

Monitoring Health Condition

The Second Military Zone’s leadership emphasized its commitment to closely monitor the injured member’s health and provide all necessary support. They also implemented organizational measures to ensure the committee’s operations continue smoothly and that personnel can rectify their financial situations according to established guidelines.

Call for Media Responsibility

In conclusion, the military leadership urged media outlets and social media activists to exercise caution and responsibility. They stressed the importance of relying solely on official statements and respecting the privacy of the injured member’s health condition.
