Al-Qadisiyah achieved an exciting victory against Al-Ahli, winning three to two in a match held on Tuesday evening. This contest marked the sixth round of the Roshan Saudi League, allowing Al-Qadisiyah to leap to the top of the standings, tied on points with Al-Hilal.
In the fourteenth minute, Dutch player Tijani Reinders opened the scoring for Al-Qadisiyah. Just before halftime, in the first minute of stoppage time, Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat added a second goal. Reinders struck again in the third minute of stoppage time, concluding the first half with Al-Qadisiyah leading three to zero.
The second half saw a resurgence from Al-Ahli. In the sixty-third minute, English striker Ivan Toney scored the first goal for Al-Ahli. Toney found the net again in the eighty-second minute, marking his second goal of the match. Despite this effort, Al-Qadisiyah managed to maintain their lead until the final whistle.
Following this match, Al-Qadisiyah climbed to fifteen points from six games, tying with Al-Hilal, who leads on goal difference. Meanwhile, Al-Ahli remains stagnant at nine points, sitting in seventh place.
