Today, Dr. Al-Hassan Taher, the Governor of Al Hudaydah, convened a meeting with Dr. Abdul Rahman Khurd, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Taiba Development Foundation. The primary focus of their discussion was the emergency nutritional medical clinics that are funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
During the meeting, Governor Taher reaffirmed the local authority’s dedication to addressing challenges associated with the continuity of these crucial healthcare services. He pointed out that thousands of citizens in the districts of Al Khawkhah and Hays, along with their surrounding areas, are direct beneficiaries of these medical services.
The governor underscored the importance of maintaining this project as a permanent fixture within the community. He emphasized its vital role in providing comprehensive services, which include chronic disease treatment, child care, epidemic disease control, reproductive health, and emergency medical services. The need for these services is even more pressing in light of the rising health challenges and the prevalence of diseases in the region.
Governor Taher also expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including its leadership, government, and citizens. He recognized the significant contributions of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, particularly in health, water, and environmental sanitation initiatives. Such efforts have considerably alleviated the suffering of displaced individuals and host communities in the liberated areas of Al Hudaydah province.
The ongoing collaboration between local authorities and international partners is essential for enhancing healthcare services in Al Hudaydah. As the region confronts escalating health challenges, sustained support and effective initiatives remain crucial for ensuring the well-being of its residents.
