Marib Governor Welcomes Kuwait Red Crescent Society Delegation

In a significant meeting on Tuesday, Sultan al-Aradah, the Marib Governor and member of the Presidential Leadership Council, warmly received a delegation from the Kuwait Red Crescent Society. The delegation, led by Mishaal bin Abdulrahman Al-Haw, is currently visiting Marib province to assess humanitarian needs and monitor service and development interventions.

Insightful Discussions on Humanitarian Efforts

During the meeting, Al-Aradah engaged with the delegation’s leader, who provided a comprehensive overview of their field visit to Marib. Al-Aradah praised the Kuwait Red Crescent Society’s role in alleviating the suffering of citizens caused by the terrorist Houthi militias, backed by the Iranian regime. He appreciated their commitment to improving the humanitarian situation amidst current challenges. He also noted the rapid humanitarian response by the Kuwait Red Crescent and other Kuwaiti institutions in providing urgent aid to those affected by the low-pressure system and the subsequent heavy rains that hit Marib, Al Hudaydah, and other Yemeni governorates. This response underscores the brotherly ties and strong relationship between the two peoples.

Continued Support and Partnership

On his part, the head of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society delegation reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting the Yemeni people.
