Al-Aradah meets a Kuwaiti Red Crescent delegation, praising their humanitarian efforts.

Marib Governor Welcomes Kuwait Red Crescent Society Delegation

In a significant meeting on Tuesday, Sultan al-Aradah, the Marib Governor and member of the Presidential Leadership Council, warmly received a delegation from the Kuwait Red Crescent Society. The delegation, led by Mishaal bin Abdulrahman Al-Haw, is currently visiting Marib province to assess humanitarian needs and monitor service and development interventions.

Insightful Discussions on Humanitarian Efforts

During the meeting, Al-Aradah engaged with the delegation’s leader, who provided a comprehensive overview of their field visit to Marib. They discussed the various activities and projects the Kuwait Red Crescent is implementing in the province and across the Republic’s other governorates. The Presidential Leadership Council member expressed profound appreciation for Kuwait’s government and people. He commended their steadfast support for the Yemeni people through various stages and circumstances, highlighting their humanitarian and developmental interventions across different sectors.

Al-Aradah praised the Kuwait Red Crescent Society’s role in alleviating the suffering of citizens caused by the terrorist Houthi militias, backed by the Iranian regime. He appreciated their commitment to improving the humanitarian situation amidst current challenges. He also noted the rapid humanitarian response by the Kuwait Red Crescent and other Kuwaiti institutions in providing urgent aid to those affected by the low-pressure system and the subsequent heavy rains that hit Marib, Al Hudaydah, and other Yemeni governorates. This response underscores the brotherly ties and strong relationship between the two peoples.

Continued Support and Partnership

On his part, the head of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society delegation reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting the Yemeni people. He emphasized their dedication to meeting humanitarian needs and strengthening partnerships with relevant entities in various humanitarian and developmental fields.

This meeting not only highlights the ongoing collaborative efforts to address humanitarian challenges in Yemen but also reinforces the deep-rooted ties between Yemen and Kuwait. The Kuwait Red Crescent Society’s initiatives in Marib and other regions exemplify the impactful humanitarian work being carried out to support communities in need.
