Today, a workshop commenced in Taiz Governorate to discuss and review the electronic platform project dedicated to humanitarian and developmental interventions. The initiative aims to unify databases and enhance coordination among entities operating in both humanitarian and developmental sectors.

Mohammad Al-Sanwi, the Deputy Governor for Social Affairs, confirmed the local authority’s support for the project. He emphasized the importance of completing technical and administrative requirements, as well as ensuring continuous data updates to strengthen institutional work.

### Unified Database to Enhance Planning

Al-Sanwi explained that a unified database represents a significant addition that helps in:

– Enhancing coordination among government entities, organizations, and donors
– Understanding the nature of projects and their geographical and sectoral distribution
– Supporting planning and prioritization
– Improving the utilization of available resources

### Platform Goal: Documenting and Cataloging Interventions

Nabil Jamal, Director of the Planning and International Cooperation Office, stated that the platform aims to unify the documentation and cataloging of humanitarian and developmental interventions. It will provide updated data that supports decision-making, monitoring, and coordination among various entities.

### Clearer Picture of Projects in Taiz

Hamed Al-Faqih, Coordinator of the Comprehensive Local Governance and Peacebuilding Project, noted that the platform will offer a clearer picture of projects, their geographical and sectoral distribution, as well as the implementing and funding entities. This enhancement will improve coordination and reduce duplication of interventions.
