Workshop Aims to Enhance Education in Yemen

The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Hadhramaut Foundation for Human Development, recently organized a scientific workshop in Mukalla. This event gathered a wide range of academic elites and educational leaders to discuss strategies for improving public education in Yemen.

Objectives of the Workshop

In his opening speech, Minister of Education Tarek Al-Akbari emphasized the workshop’s importance in systematically diagnosing the current state of education. Engineer Tarek Balhashar, the General Director of the Hadhramaut Foundation, reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to supporting educational initiatives. The workshop featured four scientific papers addressing the current state of education, successful experiences, the role of civil society in educational development, and the importance of integrating 21st-century skills into curricula.
