A Palestinian man died, and several others sustained injuries last night due to airstrikes and shelling carried out by Israeli forces across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed the death of a Palestinian who succumbed to injuries sustained earlier from shelling that targeted a Ministry of Economy site in the Mawasi area of Rafah, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. This incident raised the death toll from the same bombardment to three. Approximately 38 others suffered injuries, with eight of them reported to be in critical condition.
In Gaza City, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced the transfer of 11 injured individuals to the Al-Saraya field hospital following artillery shelling that struck a house in the eastern part of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Israeli artillery also targeted areas in northern Gaza, while military vehicles opened fire in the northeastern part of the Al-Bureij refugee camp, situated in central Gaza.
According to Palestinian sources, the total number of fatalities since the morning has reached five, alongside dozens of injuries resulting from airstrikes and shelling that targeted civilian gatherings, displaced persons’ tents, and vehicles in various locations throughout the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources indicated that the death toll in Gaza has surged to 74,564 since October 7, 2023, with the number of injured individuals reaching 175,770.
These developments occur despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement, amid Palestinian accusations that Israeli forces continue to violate the truce through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
