Call for Community Support

Saeed Ahmed Al-Khanbashi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadhramaut, urged community and tribal leaders to unite in support of state institutions. During a meeting in Mukalla, he emphasized the importance of collective efforts to protect national achievements and bolster local authorities in maintaining security and stability in Hadhramaut.

Meeting with Tribal Representatives

Al-Khanbashi met today with representatives from the Al-Kathir tribes along the Hadhramaut coast, led by Sheikh Ali Saleh Al-Kathiri. The meeting also included the presence of the province’s Technical Affairs Undersecretary, Engineer Zahir Al-Kathiri.

Acknowledging Contributions

During the meeting, Al-Khanbashi expressed his appreciation for the Al-Kathir tribe’s commendable national stance and their contributions to the community throughout various phases. He discussed the current national situation, particularly in light of the recent Houthi escalation and its political, security, and economic repercussions. He highlighted the ongoing efforts by political leadership, the government, and local authorities to normalize conditions, enhance stability, and improve public services.

Support for Unified Vision

In response, representatives from the Al-Kathir tribes praised Al-Khanbashi’s efforts to unify the community and develop a comprehensive Hadhrami vision. This vision aims to safeguard the province’s rights and entitlements while supporting initiatives to enhance essential services.
