The Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Dr. Anwar Al-Mahri, convened a meeting today in the temporary capital of Aden. The discussion focused on ways to activate the role of the council and enhance its functions within the framework of institutional regulations. This initiative aims to improve administrative performance and increase efficiency across various sectors of the ministry.
The meeting included Deputy Minister Dr. Adil Al-Tahish, sector deputies, and general directors of the ministry’s departments. Participants reviewed the upcoming National Conference on Technical Education and Vocational Training in Yemen. This conference will receive funding from the Al-Awn Foundation for Development. Additionally, the attendees discussed progress reports and performance levels across different sectors and departments.
Minister Al-Mahri highlighted significant achievements supported by the government and projects funded by local partner institutions in the technical education and vocational training sector. He emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen partnerships with supporting entities and developing programs and projects that enhance the outcomes of education and vocational training.
The minister praised the efforts of the ministry’s leadership and staff in executing their assigned tasks and working to develop the sector. He also recognized the importance of improving the performance of the ministry’s offices in the provinces.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations aimed at enhancing institutional and administrative performance. These recommendations will be integrated into the ministry’s future plans to improve work efficiency and elevate coordination among various sectors and departments.
