The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the recent attack on the diplomatic mission of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Sudan. This assault resulted in substantial damage to the embassy, which is protected under international law.

Call for Protection of Diplomatic Facilities

In an official statement, the ministry emphasized the critical importance of safeguarding diplomatic buildings and the premises of embassy personnel. These facilities enjoy legal immunities as well as protections outlined in national and international conventions.

Support for Sudanese Stability and Security

Furthermore, the Yemeni government reaffirmed its commitment to the positions held by the Arab League and the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the necessity of maintaining Sudan’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
