Military Operations Target Houthi Militias

The official spokesperson for the armed forces, Colonel Majid Al-Nazili, announced that the military executed 1,276 targeting operations against the military capabilities of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias within the last 24 hours as part of “Fajr Al-Yemen” operation.

Focus on Key Military Assets

Al-Nazili detailed that these operations targeted command and control centers, defensive positions, artillery sites, military reinforcements, transportation and supply means, as well as weapons and ammunition depots. Additionally, the armed forces conducted specialized operations deep within enemy territory, aiming to disrupt the militias’ ability to manage combat operations, regroup forces, and send reinforcements to the front lines.

Successful Operations in Multiple Fronts

He noted that armed forces units in the Taiz front, supported by popular resistance and air support from warplanes, executed surprise operations across several axes. These operations included focused strikes against legitimate military targets, which helped suppress fire sources, hinder the movement of reinforcements, and improve the tactical position of the forces in several strategic locations.

Ongoing Combat Efforts

The spokesperson emphasized that armed forces units in the Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, and southern and southwestern fronts continue their combat operations simultaneously. They target the movements and defensive positions of the militias, as well as their supply lines, which limits the militias’ ability to transfer reserves between fronts and concentrate their forces in a single combat axis.

Casualties and Equipment Losses

According to the official, these operations resulted in neutralizing approximately 382 Houthi leaders and elements, as well as destroying and damaging 140 vehicles, heavy weapons, and several ammunition depots.

Commitment to International Humanitarian Law

Al-Nazili added that the ongoing operations and the simultaneous combat efforts across various fronts reflect a high level of readiness and the ability to initiate and maintain pressure on the militias, depleting their combat capabilities and achieving cumulative field gains. The armed forces reaffirmed their commitment to carrying out military tasks according to the requirements of the battlefield while adhering to international humanitarian law and taking necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian objects.
