Sheikh Othman Majli Inspects Military Sites in Saada

Sheikh Othman Majli, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, conducted an inspection visit to several military sites in the Baqim district of Saada Governorate today. This area falls under the jurisdiction of the Second Emergency Brigade and the Azal and War One axes.

Reception by Military Leaders

Upon arrival, Sheikh Majli and his accompanying delegation received a warm welcome from Major General Yasser Hussein Majli, the commander of the Second Emergency Brigade, along with Brigadier Abu Jabr Al-Ghanimi, the assistant commander, and Colonel Adib Al-Shahab, the brigade’s chief of staff. They were joined by various leaders, officers, and soldiers stationed at different sites.

Assessment of Military Readiness

During the visit, Majli assessed the military forces’ conditions and their level of preparedness. He noted the high morale and combat spirit among the troops as they face the Houthi enemy and its Iranian-backed terrorist militias.

Greetings from the Commander-in-Chief

Majli conveyed the greetings of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, and his fellow members of the Presidential Leadership Council to the leaders, officers, and soldiers stationed at the front lines, operation rooms, and command and control centers.

Majli praised the heroic efforts of the soldiers across various fronts. He recognized those who monitor enemy movements and work tirelessly to secure citizens’ lives, freeing them from the Iranian-backed Houthi project that has plagued Yemen.

Majli listened to briefings from military leaders regarding the operational environment, operational areas, and the brigade’s field activities. They discussed the drone unit, military equipment manufacturing and maintenance, training levels, and enhancing military capabilities.

Appreciation for Saudi Support

Majli expressed profound appreciation for the generous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, and Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman. He acknowledged their ongoing cooperation and assistance to their Yemeni counterparts in restoring state institutions and ending the war imposed by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, which have drained Yemen’s resources and hindered development.

Commitment to the Military Mission

In his speech at the Second Emergency Brigade headquarters, Majli stated, “We come to you on a field visit commissioned by the Presidential Leadership Council to understand your tasks and needs, and to stand with you closely in the trench of honor and defense of this homeland.”

He added, “You, as leaders, officers, and soldiers, understand the Houthi enemy and their military escalation in some fronts. Remember that war is cyclical; one side weakens while another advances. Maintain your morale and the strength of your forces, and work on developing them to serve the battle and restore state institutions.”

Confidence in Military Forces

Majli continued, “Our confidence in you is immense in this confrontation, and our heroes possess the capability to teach the Houthi enemy historical lessons, as you have done in liberating vast areas of Saada Governorate. May God have mercy on the martyrs who shed their blood on this land.”

He concluded, “What I have seen in terms of presence, morale, and achievements deserves gratitude and praise. Stand side by side, with each of you ready to sacrifice for one another. Maintain high morale and cooperate with each other.”
