The Al-Dhale’e Police Department has reported an impressive crime resolution rate of 98.07% for the first half of 2026. This statistic comes from a total of 1,192 criminal cases recorded during this period. Authorities apprehended 1,593 suspects and managed 1,391 cases and incidents. These efforts align with the directives of Police Chief Brigadier General Aidros Abdulrahim Al-Thawair, who emphasized enhancing security readiness and institutional performance to tackle various challenges.
Crime Statistics Overview
A recent statistical report from the Al-Dhale’e Police Department detailed the distribution of cases. The report indicated 1,192 criminal offenses, 150 traffic incidents, and 49 non-criminal incidents. Notably, the police achieved a 100% success rate in handling both traffic and non-criminal cases.
Legal Proceedings and Major Crimes
The police referred 273 cases to the public prosecutor’s office and 160 cases to other authorities. Additionally, they resolved 707 cases through reconciliation or withdrawal, in accordance with legal procedures. Among their significant achievements, law enforcement addressed 21 homicide cases, 23 attempted murder cases, and solved 9 previously unknown crimes. They also detained 18 individuals wanted by the law.
Field Operations and Community Engagement
In the field, the Al-Dhale’e Police executed 6,417 security missions, which included 3,256 security patrols and 138 security campaigns. The Civil Status and Civil Registry Department issued 25,985 official documents during the same timeframe.
