The officials expressed concern over the ongoing military escalation by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, which threaten commercial shipping and international navigation security in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Minister Al-Zuba expressed gratitude for the support provided by the German government in various fields, including development, institutional building, food security, health, water, and education.
