The officials expressed concern over the ongoing military escalation by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, which threaten commercial shipping and international navigation security in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

Minister Al-Zuba expressed gratitude for the support provided by the German government in various fields, including development, institutional building, food security, health, water, and education. She emphasized the Yemeni government’s desire to expand this partnership to bolster recovery efforts and improve services.
