Strengthening Humanitarian Law and Civilian Protection
On Monday, June 15, 2026, Major General Dr. Qaid Atef Saleh, the Deputy Minister of Interior for Human Resources and Finance, met with representatives from the Geneva Call organization. They discussed a joint rehabilitation program aimed at enhancing the application of international humanitarian law, human rights, and civilian protection in conflict zones. This initiative aligns with the efforts of civil society organizations and the Ministry of Interior.
Developing Training and Rehabilitation Programs
During the meeting, which included Brigadier Osama Bahamish, Director General of Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Interior, participants focused on improving training and rehabilitation programs for ministry personnel.
