The Defense Ministry’s committee, designated to manage the handover process within the Fourth Military Region, has officially begun its field operations today in the Taiz Axis. Under the leadership of Major General Masfer Al-Harithi, the Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Forces, the committee’s primary objective is to facilitate the transfer of authority for the new regional commands and military units.
Welcoming Reception and Initial Engagements
Upon their arrival, the committee was greeted warmly by Major General Khalid Fadhel, the Taiz Axis Commander, alongside Brigadier General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi, the Chief of Staff, and Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Najjar, the Operations Chief. This cordial reception established a positive atmosphere for the committee’s mission.
The committee promptly engaged in its responsibilities by convening a meeting with the leadership of the axis and department heads.
