In a significant meeting held today in the temporary capital of Aden, Minister of Finance Marwan Faraj bin Ghanem engaged with Francesco Galatibri, the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). During the meeting, both parties explored potential collaborations that could enhance the Ministry of Finance’s responsibilities. UNFPA’s Initiatives in Yemen
The meeting also highlighted UNFPA’s ongoing initiatives in Yemen. These initiatives include providing health services to women, supporting survivors of violence, assisting families during natural disasters, rehabilitating health warehouses, supplying medical resources, addressing malnutrition crises, and establishing training and rehabilitation centers.

Minister bin Ghanem emphasized the Ministry of Finance’s commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination with UNFPA. He praised the fund’s interventions and programs that support the Yemeni population.
