Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Sha’ya Mohsen Al-Zandani, recently received a message from Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

In her message, Georgieva reaffirmed the IMF’s strong commitment to supporting the Yemeni government’s efforts. She noted, “A significant milestone was achieved last year when the IMF resumed Article IV consultations with Yemen in October after an 11-year hiatus. We hope to finalize these consultations by 2025.”
