The Permanent Mission of Yemen to the Arab League wrapped up an intensive training course today. This program, conducted in collaboration with the Statistics and Databases Department of the Arab League’s Economic Sector, focused on “Statistical Data Analysis Using SPSS.”
Training Objectives and Participant Engagement
The course aimed to enhance the skills of 30 Yemeni researchers pursuing master’s and doctoral degrees at Egyptian universities. Participants learned to effectively use SPSS for data entry, analysis, and interpretation of results. This training will significantly improve the quality of their academic research and support their educational requirements.
Notable Attendees at the Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony featured several prominent figures. Dr. Ali Mousa, the Acting Permanent Representative of Yemen to the Arab League, attended alongside Dr. Ali Al-Maliki, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and Head of the Economic Sector. Additionally, Abir Al-Jalahma, the Minister Plenipotentiary and Director of the Statistics and Databases Department, was present.
This training initiative underscores Yemen’s commitment to advancing research capabilities among its scholars, fostering a stronger academic community in the region.
