The Republic of Yemen actively participated in the Nutrition for Growth Summit, hosted by the French government. The Yemeni delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mustafa Noman, engaged in discussions aimed at addressing global nutrition challenges.

During the summit, the Yemeni delegation held several meetings with partners to secure technical and financial support. Their goal is to enhance the government’s initiatives aimed at combating malnutrition in all its forms. The delegation also sought to raise awareness about the nutritional situation in Yemen and the available opportunities to tackle this pressing challenge, particularly for children.
The summit saw the participation of several key figures, including Yemen’s Ambassador to France, Dr. Riyadh Yassin. Additionally, Karamah Al-Hada, a planning and communication specialist from the Nutrition Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, and advisor Khalil Habishi from the embassy were present.
Yemen’s involvement in the Nutrition for Growth Summit underscores its commitment to addressing malnutrition and improving health outcomes for its population. By collaborating with international partners, Yemen aims to create sustainable solutions that will benefit future generations.
