The conference aimed to address the pressing need for peace and stability in the region.
Dr. Al-Zandani expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of Saudi Arabia and France in preparing for this significant conference. The minister described the conference as a crucial step toward reviving the political process and effectively implementing the two-state solution. He highlighted the importance of ending Israeli occupation to fulfill the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people. Yemen supports the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
