In a significant move to enhance the quality and competitiveness of local products on the global stage, the Hadhramaut Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an informative workshop in Sayun. The event, focused on international standards and quality certification (ISO), aimed to equip local exporters with the knowledge and skills necessary to improve and develop their products.

Empowering Exporters with Global Quality Standards

The workshop targeted members of the Chamber, primarily local exporters, providing them with a deeper understanding of quality systems, the importance of ISO certification, global specifications, quality policies, principles, process management under the quality system, and the role of ISO in market expansion. A Commitment to Excellence and Economic Growth

Taha Al-Saqaf, the Deputy Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Valley and the Desert, highlighted the workshop’s critical role in building the capacity and skills of Chamber members. He emphasized the importance of meeting international standards to compete effectively in global markets. Al-Saqaf also reassured that the Chamber would provide all necessary support to ensure local products can stand toe-to-toe with international exports, contributing to the nation’s economic growth.
