On Tuesday, the Security Administration of Abyan Governorate reported the deaths of two National Security soldiers, previously known as the Security Belt, following a terrorist attack by Al-Qaeda militants on the National Security headquarters in Loder. The assailants employed hand grenades and automatic weapons in this treacherous assault targeting security personnel.
Authorities confirmed that the soldiers, Ahmad Qasim Al-Jaari and Mu’taz Ali Abdul-Rab Al-Jadani, lost their lives in the sudden attack executed by Al-Qaeda operatives. This incident shocked both security forces and local residents, as the soldiers were well-known for their efforts in combating terrorism and enhancing security in the region.
Both soldiers played active roles in pursuing terrorist organizations and significantly contributed to maintaining security and stability in Loder District and Abyan Governorate. Their dedication to addressing security threats makes them exemplary figures in serving their country.
The Abyan Security Administration expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and their colleagues in the security forces. They emphasized that the sacrifices of these heroes will not be in vain and that security agencies will continue their efforts to combat terrorism and uphold peace and stability in the country.
The Yemeni government remains committed to countering terrorist activities that threaten national security. Attacks carried out by Al-Qaeda and other armed groups highlight the urgent need for enhanced cooperation among security institutions and increased international support in the fight against terrorism. These sacrifices should serve as motivation for intensified efforts to achieve security and stability in Yemen.
