Today, Governor Nabil Shamsan of Taiz approved the establishment of three neighborhood units in the northern area of Al-Turbah, the center of Al-Shamayatayn District. This initiative aligns with the city’s urban expansion and planning strategy.

Governor Shamsan emphasized that the design of these neighborhood units follows precise engineering principles. The goal is to create a modern urban landscape in Al-Turbah that accommodates the growing population and increasing commercial activities.

Following the signing of the approval, Governor Shamsan directed the Public Works and Roads Office to conduct an immediate field visit. Their tasks include addressing existing issues, clearing debris, and opening streets according to the approved neighborhood units.

Additionally, the governor instructed the local branch of the General Authority for Land, Survey, and Urban Planning to inventory state lands and properties in the area. He urged them to take necessary measures to protect these assets from encroachments.

Inspection of Ongoing Projects

In a related effort, Governor Shamsan conducted an inspection tour of Al-Turbah’s streets. He reviewed the progress of asphalt work and improvements on the main road. He praised the level of achievement and reiterated the need to adhere to technical specifications and timelines for service projects.
