On Wednesday, the Taiz Military Axis celebrated the graduation of the seventh batch of “Battalion Leaders.” The event took place in the presence of several dignitaries, including the Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, who also serves as the head of the security committee. Other notable attendees included Major General Muhammad Al-Absi, Deputy Head of the Training and Rehabilitation Authority at the Ministry of Defense, and Major General Khaled Fadel, Commander of the Taiz Axis, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Defense and various military and security leaders.

Furthermore, he mentioned directives from the President of the Presidential Leadership Council to name the training center after martyr Adnan Al-Hamadi. This initiative aims to enhance leadership training and expedite the provision of necessary equipment, transforming the center into a comprehensive institute that serves the National Army and the national struggle.

Training for Future Leaders

During his speech, Shamsan congratulated the new cohort of experienced leaders, encouraging them to embark on their next phase of struggle with high morale, combat knowledge, and military expertise. He highlighted the heroic roles played by the people of Taiz in achieving revolutions, driving change, and standing resolutely alongside their fellow citizens in various provinces.

Military Education’s Role in National Defense

Major General Al-Absi reiterated the importance of the institute and its military outputs in supporting the national struggle. He praised the heroic contributions of the people of Taiz, particularly their efforts to break the might of the oppressive militias. He acknowledged the immense sacrifices and the countless martyrs who have fought across various fronts in the ongoing military confrontation.

Support for the Training Institute

Al-Absi noted that the Adnan Al-Hamadi Institute receives support from the Ministry of Defense and the Training and Rehabilitation Authority. This backing aims to establish the institute as a premier center for leadership development, equipping leaders with military knowledge and skills from all regions of the country.

Commitment to National Integrity

In his address, Major General Fadel reaffirmed the armed forces’ responsibility to defend the Yemeni revolutions and to firmly confront the new imamate. He stressed the importance of reclaiming the entire national territory from the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia, which has targeted revolutionary, constitutional, and democratic achievements.

A Professional Military Future
