Prime Minister Receives German Officials to Discuss Bilateral Relations

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Brek welcomed Tobias Tunkel, the German Foreign Ministry’s Special Commissioner for Middle Eastern and North African Affairs, alongside Thomas Schneider, the German Ambassador to Yemen. This meeting aimed to strengthen ties between Yemen and Germany while addressing recent political, security, and economic developments.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

During the meeting, both parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and the latest updates on Yemen’s political and economic landscape. The successful transfer of military camps emerged as a significant milestone, reflecting the government’s commitment to unify security and military decisions. This step aims to enhance state authority and create a conducive environment for government operations.

Transitioning from Crisis Management to Stability

Prime Minister bin Brek emphasized that recent positive developments, particularly the successful transfer of military camps in southern and eastern provinces, present a genuine opportunity for the government. He stated that these advancements allow the government to shift from crisis management to establishing stability.
