Presidential Leadership Council Discusses Economic and Security Updates
The Presidential Leadership Council, led by President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, convened to address pressing economic and security issues. All council members, including Sultan Al-Aradah, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrimi, Dr. Abdullah Alimi, and Faraj Al-Bahsani, participated in the meeting. Additionally, members Eidros Al-Zubaidi, Tariq Saleh, and Othman Majali joined via video conference.
Government Report on Economic Reforms
During the meeting, Prime Minister Salem Saleh Bin Brek presented a government report detailing the implementation of Council Decision No. (10) for 2025. This decision focuses on economic reforms, pricing strategies, and necessary actions to enhance public resource management. The report also addressed measures to control spending, improve service delivery, and mitigate the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by the Iran-backed Houthi militias.

The council reaffirmed its unwavering support for the government and the Central Bank in their efforts to implement structural reforms.
