Palestinian Foreign Ministry Calls for Immediate Action to Halt Israeli Aggression in Gaza

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has urgently requested the implementation of effective international mechanisms to immediately stop the Israeli aggression in Gaza. This appeal comes as the Israeli government continues to employ tactics such as starvation, water deprivation, and denial of medical supplies as instruments of war.

Ongoing Destruction and Humanitarian Crisis

In a recent statement, the ministry warned that Israeli forces are intensifying their campaign to destroy the remaining homes and facilities in Gaza. This destruction coincides with daily killings that target over 2 million Palestinians, many of whom lack any safe shelter.

Forced Displacement and Escalating Suffering

The ministry highlighted that Israeli forces have compelled residents to evacuate to an area that constitutes only 18% of Gaza. This situation exacerbates their daily suffering and pushes them towards various forms of displacement. The ministry reiterated that the international community’s failure to halt this genocidal war in Gaza is unjustifiable.

Call for International Law Enforcement

The statement emphasized that swift enforcement of international law represents the true path to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people. It also underlined the necessity of realizing a Palestinian state and achieving stability in the region.
