Minister Calls for Unity Among Yemenis
Yemen’s Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, stated that the Houthi project struggles to sustain itself amid significant regional and international developments. He urged Yemenis to unite and set aside their differences to restore the state.
A Pivotal Moment in Yemen’s History
In a recent press statement, Al-Eryani emphasized that the Yemeni people stand at a critical juncture in their history. He noted that power dynamics are shifting, revealing truths and dismantling facades. The Houthi project, he asserted, cannot endure against the determination of Yemenis. By coming together and overcoming their disputes, they can dismantle this project.
Clear Signs of Change in the Region
Al-Eryani pointed out that the changes occurring in Yemen and the surrounding region are not mere fleeting events. Instead, they signal the imminent decline of the Iranian project and its various arms, particularly the Houthi militias.
Iran Faces Increasing Isolation
The minister added that the Iranian regime currently experiences growing isolation and pressure. Iran is compelled to negotiate the dismantling of its nuclear and missile programs while its networks and affiliates collapse one by one. He highlighted that Hezbollah, which fought alongside the Houthis and sent experts to assist them, now finds itself negotiating merely to retain its personal weapons after losing its popular and political support.
End of an Era for Iranian Influence
Al-Eryani also noted that the previous regime and Iranian militias in Syria, which opened Yemen’s embassy in Damascus for the Houthis, have lost their relevance. This shift marks a significant change in the region’s political landscape.
Houthi Militias Face a Grim Future
The minister reiterated that the Houthi militia, classified as a terrorist group by several countries and organizations, is heading toward a similar fate. He warned of impending international sanctions, complete isolation, and public outrage. The militia’s inevitable downfall is approaching, and neither its slogans nor its lies will save it from the consequences of its actions.
A Call to Action for Yemenis
In conclusion, Al-Eryani stressed that the moment of truth has arrived. He urged Yemenis to recognize that the Houthi militia is not an unavoidable fate but rather an invasive force that must be eradicated. He emphasized the importance of unity and the need to rely on the national army and leadership to restore the state and end the coup.
