Yemen’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, emphasized that the country’s participation in Expo 2025 represents an exceptional opportunity. He stated that this event allows Yemen to showcase itself as a nation that embodies love and peace, while also highlighting its economic and investment potential.

A Visit to the Yemeni Pavilion

During his visit to the Yemeni pavilion at Expo 2025, Al-Ashwal praised the organization, preparation, and design executed by talented Yemeni hands. He noted that these efforts traveled a long distance to Japan, leaving a mark of the Yemeni people’s determination to present themselves as advocates for peace, culture, and international cooperation.

Exploring Yemen’s Rich Heritage

Accompanied by Yemen’s Ambassador to Japan, Adel Al-Sanini, the minister toured various sections of the Yemeni pavilion. They explored the rich features of Yemen’s ancient civilization, including intricate decorations, traditional carvings, and archaeological artifacts. Al-Ashwal expressed his admiration for the high turnout of visitors, who enjoyed the artistic details and architectural masterpieces representing Yemen’s most iconic landmarks, such as Dar Al-Hajar, the Al-Mahdar Lighthouse, and the skyscrapers of Shibam.

Capturing the Essence of Yemeni Culture

Al-Ashwal pointed out that the Yemeni pavilion, with its vibrant atmosphere, received positive feedback from visitors. They experienced a genuine blend of authentic Yemeni culture, characterized by the scents of traditional incense, the sounds of local music, and the warm hospitality that defines Yemen’s cultural identity.

A Message of Cultural Significance

The minister reiterated that Yemen’s participation in Expo 2025 is not merely a formal representation. Instead, it serves as a powerful message that highlights Yemen’s cultural and civilizational significance. This participation underscores Yemen’s readiness to engage in major international forums and showcases its rich heritage and cultural legacy to the world.
