New Facility Enhances Healthcare Services
Today, Mabkhout bin Madi, the Governor of Hadramout, inaugurated a water treatment plant at the Fatima Bait Batin Medical Center, dedicated to the care of kidney failure patients in Sayun. This project, part of the first phase from 2023 to 2025, received funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
Appreciation for Collaborative Efforts
Governor bin Madi praised the administrative, medical, and technical teams at the Fatima Bait Batin Centers for their dedication to providing essential healthcare services to kidney patients from various governorates across the country. He acknowledged the significant contributions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Center and the Prince Fahd bin Salman Charity Association for Kidney Patients, known as “Kilana.” These organizations play a crucial role in implementing life-saving projects and supporting humanitarian and developmental efforts in Hadramout and the nation as a whole. The governor also commended the active role of the Sila Development Foundation in executing these projects and assisting local authorities in various sectors.
State-of-the-Art Water Treatment Technology

Manufactured by the renowned German company Fresenius, which specializes in dialysis machines and equipment, this plant will significantly boost the operational capacity of the center, allowing it to serve more than 105 patients daily. The plant ensures high-quality water production with enhanced efficiency and reduced water consumption compared to the previous facility. It features smart automated washing systems and sensors for pressure, concentration, and temperature. Impressively, it can produce 2,500 liters of pure, healthy water per hour.
